Thanks for all your kind welcome back words! I cannot wait to catch up with all of you! Right now I am out on a 15 mile training run with my dad but I wanted to quickly check in : )
I’ll be sure to share the details of our training plan, but for now, I just had to share this picture from our wedding day of me and my dad in front of our running club.
The shoes I’m wearing are the ones Dan proposed on and you guessed it- THEY ARE BLUE! My dad surprised me a few days before the wedding with the running bib from our local running club. And it just so happened that the church I grew up going to, where our ceremony took place, was just around the corner from the club my dad and I run for, Sneaker Factory. I just knew we had to get these pics, and honestly, it felt good to get out of my killer heels for awhile!

On an unrelated note- have you been watching the olympics? I am so excited to watch the marathon tomorrow. I have my DVR all set to record! I have been following Kara and Shalane on faceboook and cannot imagine what they are feeling right now. Just beautiful…everything! I am sure it was everything you wanted and more! The wedding party looks fabulous and I just love the closeness you share with Blue Eyed Dad. I am sure it was hard for him to see his little girl get married because you are so close but I am sure that bond is something will continue to grow stronger! Congratulations!
