Your toughness is made up of equal parts persistence and experience. You don’t so much outrun your opponents as outlast and outsmart them.

Whew. I can’t believe Tuesday is already almost over. I am officially in week 3 of AC Marathon training. I’ll admit, I like the extra miles, but I am worried I won’t be able to sustain them when I go back to work in September. For now though, I am enjoying them, although I do miss the track : )
Here’s how week two went:
Sunday: Jump & Pump
Monday: 6 am / 6.2 pm = 12.2 for the day
Tuesday: 8 am / 3 pm = 11 for the day
Wednesday: 5 @ 8:52
Thursday: 5 miles @ 9:07
Friday: 17 miles @ 9:16
Saturday: 4 miles @ 8:37
Total: 54 miles
Do you like the new buttons on the side bar? I have been doing some behind the scenes clean up here on Blue-Eyed Runner, organizing categories, making buttons, etc. I streamlined the categories and created buttons so that if you click on the picture it will bring you to all the posts in that category. It was a huge project, and not quite finished yet, but its getting there.
If you are interested you can catch up on the four marathons I have run and trained for so far and also catch up on the few wedding posts I have written. More on the wedding, coming soon!

You are killing those miles girl!! Great work!! I’m excited to read about your marathons and poke around your new buttons and stuff
Woohoo! Two-a-days love it! Me too girl!
What a great week you had lady! You don’t even take a day off and that’s pretty impressive! I have been thinking about splitting up runs in the am and pm too just to get more miles in. Keep up the hard work!
Keep the miles up there, and that 2 runs a day, I so need to get back into it, but the wind and rain we in Cape Town have had this winter don’t make getting out of bed easy!!!
You are killing it with the training Keri. Way to go girl!
