After weeks of waiting and deliberating about what to order, the engagement pictures arrived in the mail yesterday.
I know I keep posting about this, and I will try not to post pictures I have already posted, but I can’t remember what I posted where.
Here are the ones I don’t think you have seen…

Yesterday, I called JCrew about bridesmaids dresses. I love their dresses for the wedding party but everything on their website right now is pretty dark. Definitely fall and winter wedding colors. The girl said they would not be getting in their spring/summer colors until February or March…
*When did you/will you/should you choose your bridal party dresses??

Our engagement was short (6 months) so I don’t remember having a problem with dresses.
I’ve been to weddings w/J Crew dresses…..so pretty!
the pics look great!! so very cute. Every weeding I’ve been in, the dresses were ordered at least six months in advance.

You two are super sweet together and I love these pictures, they have a loving softness. So adorable. When I got married eons ago I didn’t really have time to pick out bridesmaids dresses. I think it was 4-5 months before the wedding I picked a store and a color and told my bridesmaids to go there on their own timing to pick out whatever style dress they wanted. It worked out rather well and they oddly all chose the same dress.

Beautiful photos! I love your dress and the beachy scene!!! So fun! And dresses from JCrew? Those are bound to be awesome! I’m lame and got so overwhelmed with planning (our engagement was pretty short) that I ended up just telling the ladies the colors and letting them pick out whatever they could find. It actually ended up working out really well! My sisters got matching ones and everyone else did whatever… so it was just a random mix of blue and orange, but I thought it looked great. And mostly I just didn’t care at that point.

I ended up getting my dresses at David’s Bridal. Seriously, it was harder finding bridesmaids dresses than it was finding my dress because I had 3 completely different body types. I’m happy with what I chose though. Basic red shifts with a black sash.

As far as bridesmaid dresses, I got married late July, so the summery colors I wanted to use were available that whole spring and early summer while I was picking them out.

I had the funniest dream last night that involved you. Actually, it was a nightmare. You beat me in a race!:) I have entered a race totally undertrained since my ITB is acting up again and I cannot run (that’s a reality, not a dream) but I thought that I can pull it off. I also thought that the race was 1 mile, but it was 6 miles. I do not know how I did, but you won the race with mile splits in 5:40s and you beat me. And you won a cycling aerohelmet, which you graciously gave to me because that helmet was the reason I entered the race and you did not really need it:)

I did my bridal party dresses early. I think we had to order them like 5 or 6 months in advance and I gave it like a month to decide. I did 2 pices and the girls all chose their tops. They were pretty…couldnt really tell it was 2 piece. Chiffon mocha color. They loved picking the styles that fit their shape and I liked the diversity!

I love all the pictures, just beautiful!!! My sister’s bought their bridesmaids dresses about 2 months before the wedding. The bridal store told me we were sooo late and gave me a rough time, but it all worked out in the end. My mom even got her mother of the bride dress the week before!!!
Im getting Married the end of March and my bridesmaids just ordered their dresses beginning of January! I got them at Davids Bridal and usually takes 8 weeks to come in! She u should be fine.. just see how long the delivery is! Pictures are great! where did u get the life saver?? im getting married at the beach that would be cute for our pictures!
