Some people follow their dreams, others hunt them down and beat them mercilessly into submission.

When I originally set out training for Boston, I trained for a 3:20 marathon. Training through a rough New Jersey winter was difficult for me and I didn’t get in all the workouts I wanted to, but, overall I think my training went pretty well.
The Goals
Goal #1: Run a 3:20 marathon
Goal #2: Run a PR marathon (sub 3:29)
Goal #3: Finish Boston and have a blast!
If I run a PR or get that 3:20 I will be thrilled. If not, I am just lucky to be running the Boston Marathon. The prize is just being there.
I woke up feeling better today, so I went to work! I didn’t feel great, but it was nice to get out of the house. Only one more day of work, then we leave for Boston on Saturday. We come home on Tuesday and I have the rest of the week off for spring break. Can’t beat that!
I plan to spend the rest of the day relaxing and packing.
Have a nice night!

(or compete in? swim, bike, etc.)
