March Madness

January: 152
February: 126
March: 114

March Goals
*20K tune up race : Cancelled Replaced with a 15k on April 3rd.
*Final 20-miler: Complete
*Boston training continues

March Successes
*Successfully made it to tapering for Boston
*Completed track workouts (400s and 800s) and tempo runs
*Completed hill and plyo workouts

March Fun
*Got the first glimpses of spring and completed runs in beautiful 70 degree weather.
*Celebrated birthdays with friends.
*Choose the church for the wedding.
*Volunteered at my first race.

March was a good month, but it certainly had no chance for topping February!

On the Agenda for April
*15k tune up race
*Boston Marathon
*Attempting a post-marathon 15k close to 2 weeks later.
*Spring Break from work!

*Who is with me that Easter candy tops all other holiday candy (Halloween, Valentine’s Day, etc.)?
I think its the pretty pastel colors that I like…I stood in the candy isle at the grocery store for way too long yesterday picking out candy…

*Did you hear? Kara Goucher wrote a book?
It is called Running for Women.

*Speaking of books, did any of you ladies used to read the Sweet Valley High series? Have you heard the news?? Who is excited? Will you be reading it?
