1 Month ‘til Boston!!

by blueeyedrunner on March 18, 2011

I run because it’s so symbolic of life. You have to drive yourself to overcome the obstacles. You might feel that you can’t. But then you find your inner strength, and realize you’re capable of so much more than you thought.

It was a beautiful day in New Jersey yesterday. 68 degrees and sunny when I headed out for my after-work run. Even though I was sore from Wednesday’s plyo jumps, I was looking forward to this run. I wore shorts and a tank top- hoping to get a little color for my pasty skin, no such luck, but it felt great to not have to be bundled up. My dad even rode his bike along side me.

So, I know this is random, but my right eye has been twitching. A lot. For more than a month now. I was thinking maybe I needed to get my eyes checked- I don’t wear glasses, and I read a lot, but after further inspection, it seems it is my eyelid twitching, not my actual eye. This weekend, I was flipping through a copy of Real Simple Magazine and I noticed an article about various common body issues or quirks and it was on the list! Also on the list- tri-sneezing, which Dan makes fun of me for all the time. I always sneeze in threes. Anyway, it said the eyelid twitching can be due to: over-caffination, fatigue or stress. All 3 are very viable causes.

*So now I ask you, has anyone else had this eye twitching before? I figure if it was in the article, it has to be more common than I originally thought.

*Any other strange bodily quirks? Tri-sneezers??

1 month until Boston!!! Ahhhh!
